Medicom Toy is a Japanese licensed collectible toy company based in Shibuya, Japan. The company was founded in 1996 by Tatsuhiko Akashi. They are known for their iconic collectible figures Be@rbrick and Kubricks. Kubricks are predominantly collected by adults and produced in very limited number. Be@rbrick is a cartoonish looking bear with extremely simplified form and a pot belly. Both products are widely accepted as arts rather than conventional toys.
